  • 4 cups fresh green beans trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup French fried onions divided
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the Green Beans: In a large pot of boiling salted water, blanch the green beans for about 5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir in the blanched green beans and half of the fried onions.
  • Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
